Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of M2x Fitness (ABN 39 119 387 801, "M2x", "we", "us"), including our website, the M2x MuscleLab app, our training programs, coaching, and the M2x MuscleLab community hosted on Skool. By signing up or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms.
Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms.
What we provide
M2x provides structured strength and fitness training programs (the Signal Method), the MuscleLab app for logging training and nutrition, access to a members' community, and coaching depending on your membership tier. Specific features, program access, and coaching inclusions vary by plan. See the pricing shown at signup for what's included in your tier.
Health disclaimer and assumption of risk
Physical training involves inherent risk, including the risk of serious injury.
Before starting any M2x program you should be in good health. If you have any pre-existing condition, injury, or concern, get clearance from a medical professional first. This is particularly important if you have or have had a heart condition, high blood pressure, a musculoskeletal injury, a chronic illness, are pregnant or postpartum, or are returning to training after a long break or a period of illness.
M2x coaching, programming and nutrition guidance are general fitness services. They are not medical advice, physiotherapy, dietetics, or any other regulated health service, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional who knows your circumstances.
You use M2x programs, training advice, and nutrition guidance at your own risk. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or anything beyond normal training effort.
You're responsible for scaling loads to your own capability, using appropriate safety equipment, and training in a safe environment.
Eligibility and your account
You need to be 18 or older to hold an M2x membership.
You're responsible for keeping your account and login details secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Subscriptions, billing and free trial
- Every new membership includes a 7-day free trial. You can cancel any time during the trial without being charged.
- If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid plan and billing begins at the rate shown for your selected tier at signup.
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis, monthly or annually depending on your plan, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Before an annual subscription renews, we'll email you a reminder at least 14 days in advance, telling you the renewal date and the amount.
- Subscription payments are processed through Skool, not by M2x directly. Skool's own terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll keep access until then.
Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
Price changes
We may change our pricing from time to time.
If you're on an active subscription, a price change won't affect you during your current billing period. We'll give you at least 30 days' written notice before a price change applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect if you don't want to continue at the new rate.
Founding member pricing, where offered, is held for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later rejoin, the pricing available at that time applies.
Founding member offer
The founding member offer is available to the first 50 members who take out an annual Premium or VIP subscription during the founding window. To earn a second year at no charge, you need to:
- Set three measurable goals with us within the first 30 days of your membership.
- Remain continuously subscribed for the full 12 months.
- Log training in the MuscleLab app in at least 40 of the 52 weeks.
- Achieve the three goals you set within the 12 month period.
Goals must be objective and measurable (for example, a specific lift at a specific weight) so that whether they've been met isn't a matter of opinion. If you meet all four conditions, your following year is provided at no charge.
If circumstances outside your control interrupt your year, such as injury or illness, contact us and we'll work something out.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account or program access with people who aren't paying members.
- Copy, resell, or redistribute M2x's programs, content, or materials.
- Use the community or app in a way that's abusive, harassing, or disruptive to other members or coaches.
- Post content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Give medical advice to other members or present yourself as a qualified health professional if you aren't one.
- Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app or website.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Intellectual property
All training programs, written content, videos, and materials provided through M2x are owned by M2x, or licensed to us, and are provided for your personal use as a member only. You don't get any ownership rights over this content by subscribing.
Your content
You keep ownership of anything you post in the community or upload to the app, including your training data, posts, comments, and photos.
By posting in the community, you give us a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the M2x community and app so the service can function.
We won't use your name, photo, training data or comments in marketing or public content without asking you first. If you'd like to be featured and later change your mind, tell us and we'll remove it.
Third-party platforms
Parts of the service run on third-party platforms. Our community and billing run through Skool, and coaching calls may be booked through Cal.com. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms.
Termination
You can cancel your membership at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or for non-payment. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
When your membership ends, you'll lose access to programs, the app and the community. You can request a copy of your training data before or within 30 days of cancelling, and we'll provide it in a usable format. Data retention after that is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
M2x programs and coaching are provided on an "as is" basis. We don't guarantee any specific training, strength, body composition or health outcome, because results depend on factors outside our control including your consistency, recovery, nutrition, genetics and health.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- M2x is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- Where permitted, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee in relation to services is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a term of these terms is found to be unfair or unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues to apply.
General
- Severability: if any part of these terms is unenforceable, that part is removed and the rest stays in force.
- No waiver: if we don't enforce a right, that doesn't mean we've given it up.
- Assignment: you can't transfer your membership to someone else. We may transfer our rights under these terms if the business is sold, and we'll tell you if that happens.
- Entire agreement: these terms, with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the business evolves. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect. Continued use of M2x after that means you accept the revised terms.
